MS study

Aubrie

We are very proud of what Noell's foundation has been involved with since we started it in 2002.  Our mission statement when we started was to assist underprivileged children and any other lawful business conducted on a nonprofit basis.  I am very honored that we will be teaming up with the MS division of CHOP(Children's Hospital of Philadelphia) and providing funding for research to assist in the treatment of a disease that has affected our life in a very personal way.

Last May our daughter, Aubrie, got very ill, unable to walk or talk.  We were sent to CHOP immediately and she was diagnosed with ADEM, Acute disseminated encephalomyelitis.   She was given a heavy dose of steroid and after that she seemed great, until mid June same thing happened.  She has had several flair over the past year and a half that have affected her brain and spine. Aubrie was diagnosed with MS, in November 2008.

We are so fortunate to have The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia only 45 minutes away from us.  Dr Amy T Waldman is making incredible headway in the research of pediatric MS, and we are so lucky to have one of the best, most knowledgable doctors caring for our little girl.  Please read the following letter from Dr Waldman:
